Counselors

Milan

Milan Bodic is from Subotica, Serbia.  He is sixteen years old and will begin his second year of high school.  This is his third year in the camp, but his first time as a counselor.  He was here for the very first TTTE and returned last year starting to take on leadership roles with the camp.  This year he was invited back officially as a Junior Counselor, helping organize activities while making new friends.  His goals before coming to camp were to be a good counselor and meet interesting people.  He also wanted to help organizing activities and he believes he has achieved his golas. “I’m positive that things are rolling along smoothly.  The students are wonderful.  They’re very good, active and they like meeting new friends.”

Kati

Kati is from Budapest, Hungary and this is her fourth year as a counselor at TTTE.  She keeps returning to the camp because, despite the hard work, she loves it here.  Her goal was to make camp as successful and enjoyable as possible.  Her words to everyone are, “Everybody should come here and see that people form Eastern Europe can live and work together!”

Taki

Taki is also from Budapest, and having been with TTTE since the beginning.  He enjoys playing football, handball, reading and role playing.  He learned about the camp four years ago from his English teacher in college who was the camp director in the first camp.  As with every year, Taki was expecting interesting and playful kids who are really open-minded.  He also knew he would have a great team of counselors to work with again.

Emma

Emma Gazdag is a counselor from Serbia but she lives in Budapest.  She is twenty years old and she’s studying English and Art History.  Emma loves to be with her friends and she also loves running.  This is her second year in camp.  She came back because she loves camp tolerance.  Last year she applied for being a counselor because she heard so much about this cap from her sister and she wanted to have some new experiences too.  She expected a lot of fun and enjoyment and Emma found that here because this camp ha the greatest kids.  She made new friendships and she is still keeping in touch with some of the kids form last year’s camp.  Emma loves to work with teenagers because they are so open for new things and they are open to make new friends.  Her best experience was Casino night because everybody had fun.  Camp tolerance is the greatest camp in the world and Emma loves when kids from six countries can sing, dance and play together for two weeks.
